IABSE Conference Guangzhou 2016

Introduction

The IABSE Conference ' Bridges and Structures Sustainability - Seeking Intelligent Solutions' will be held from May 8-11, 2016, in Guangzhou, China. It is being organised by the Chinese Group of IABSE, Guangzhou University, Tongji University and Hong Kong-Zuhai-Macau Bridge Authority. 

Guangzhou is the capital and largest City of Guangdong province. Located on the Pearl River, about 120 km north-northwest of Hong Kong and north-northeast of Macau. Guangzhou is a key national Transportation hub and a trading port. It is very convenient to be accessed by international flights from aboard and domestic flights and high-speed Trains from other cities of China.

This Conference will be gathering of professional engineers, researchers and public agencies around the world to exchange ideas and experiences on various aspects of sustainable structures and explore the future of intelligent solutions especially for design, construction and maintenance of major projects.

An exciting social Programme will be organised for all participants and accompanying persons.
